At Shellharbour Oztag, we’re passionate about delivering a dynamic and inclusive sporting experience for players of all ages and skill levels. As the proud home of Shellharbour Spirit, we offer both junior and senior competitions at Myimbarr Park.
Our junior competitions in Shellharbour run during the summer season, with games on Monday for 8’s, 10’s and 12’s, and Thursday for all age groups. These comps provide young players with a chance to build skills, have fun, and enjoy team sport in a supportive environment.
For adults, our senior competitions are held on Thursday evenings, offering competitive play and a great way to stay active and social within the community.
We’re proud to support our representative teams — Shellharbour Spirit, who compete at state-level — showcasing the strength and dedication of players from our local area.

Junior Oztag
Fun, fast, and inclusive — our junior Oztag seasons run during Term 4 and Term 1 across multiple local venues. Open to boys and girls aged 5 to 16, our comps help young players develop confidence, teamwork, and fitness in a safe, non-contact environment.
Senior Oztag
Whether you’re playing socially or chasing titles, Shellharbour Oztag has a spot for you. Our senior comps cater for mixed, men’s, and women’s teams, with divisions to suit all skill levels. Great for fitness, fun, and a midweek run around with mates.
Representative Oztag
For players ready to take their game to the next level, our Shellharbour Spirit representative program provides a clear pathway to elite Oztag. Selected players compete at NSW Junior and Senior State Cups, facing off against the best from across the state.
Our Sister Club – Wollongong Redbacks
Shellharbour Oztag is proud to work closely with our sister club, Wollongong Redbacks. Sharing the same values of community, sportsmanship, and development, the Redbacks offers high-quality junior and senior competitions in Wollongong. Together, we’re building a stronger Oztag community across the Illawarra — one team, two clubs, same passion.
